The 6th grade had an amazing morning!! As part of an integrated ELA and Social Studies unit and thanks to a group of very generous parents, Mrs. Young and Mrs. Spencer was able to take the entire class to Black Bear Cinemas to see Lost on a Mountain in Maine, which is based on the book with the same title. Students spent the last several weeks reading the book and learning about the Mount Katahdin region in ELA and Social Studies classes. They were very impressed with the quality of the movie and greatly enjoyed the snacks that were provided! Thank you again to the parents that donated to help make this trip possible!!
Our 8th graders spent the last day before break learning about the periodic table! They played Periodic Table Battleship. It was a great time of learning and fun competition.
After listening to many versions of the story, "Stone Soup", Kindergarten cooked and enjoyed their own stone soup today!
