Pre-K started St. Patrick’s day morning by doing a science experiment with Mrs. Madden’s first graders where they watched the rainbow run together with skittles and water! Then finished the day with some St. Patrick’s day trivia with our reading buddies from Mrs. Spencer’s class! No luck catching the leprechaun, but we will try again next year! 🍀

Come support the 8th grade!

Mrs. Estes class made leprechaun traps at home with their families to try to catch the pesky leprechaun at school. We set our traps Thursday night and came back today to find the room a mess, traps tipped over, gold coins everywhere, and the toilet bowl green.
Thank you families for helping your child's creation come to life!

Mrs. Madden’s first graders had a very lucky St. Patrick’s Day! The students completed an escape room by solving 5 different tasks, they did crafts and puzzles, a rainbow science experiment with the pre-K class, and a cloud experiment and made shamrock shakes!!

Kindergarten enjoyed a special snack of leprechaun pudding!

Kindergarten got special rocks from the leprechaun. When they washed the rocks, they found a gold coin inside.

We'd like to thank our wonderful students for sharing their talent with us this week! It was a wonderful show and you should all be so proud! Great job to Student Council for running the show! Thank you to Mr. Cushman and our amazing custodial staff for all the help with set up! Thank you to our community for coming out to support our talented students! We can't wait for next year!

PK-4th Grade participated in the Maine Chickadee Book Award & State of Maine Student Book Awards over the last two months! Today we voted on our favorites, the winners are Something Like Home & The Three Little Guinea Pigs! We also had quite a few honorable mentions.
Students can find these books in our Library, we are excited to share these with our families 😊

This week Mrs. Estes' class celebrated Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss' birthday by having a Dr. Seuss week! We had a theme for every day this week. Our highlights were having a community reader come into the classroom, Wacky Wednesday, playing the shoe game, and Green Eggs and Ham day. Although our green eggs didn't come out as planned, the class were still troupers to give it a try and said we should try them again! We spent this week reading a lot of Dr. Seuss books and doing crafts. What a fun-filled learning week!

K-1st read Mr.Brown Can Moo, Can You by Dr. Seuss & did a musical chairs version of the book. We had loud “moos” and “klopp klopps” coming from Library! Mrs.Libby also allowed some first graders to be Librarians and check out books!
