7th grade students have been learning about careers in SEL class with Mrs. McDunnah. This week they started sharing their presentations and did an awesome job!

2nd went outside and read 'If kids Ruled the World' by Linda Bailey this week. Afterwards, they told Mrs. Hogan what they would want if kids ruled the world and then they enjoyed an extra recess in this beautiful weather!
Mrs. Reinzo was honored with this years yearbook dedication by the 8th grade! Congratulations Mrs. Reinzo, the students and school are lucky to have you!
Olivia Small was awarded the Warren Kidder scholarship award at our assembly this week. She was joined by members of the Kidder family. Congratulations Olivia!
We’d like to thank our K students and teachers for performing patriotic songs for the school! Even with all of that wind they stood tall and sounded wonderful!
The sixth grade had an amazing trip to the Brookfield facility today! We were able to watch the fish elevator operate, see where they count the fish, watch how they transport salmon to Orland, and touch some fish in the holding tank. Thank you so much to Mr. Dill and the crew for an extraordinary experience!

On Friday, second grade went on a field trip to the Cole Land Transportation Museum. They took part in the Junior Curator Project and worked together to figure out what many artifacts were originally used for. They also took a tour of the museum and saw trucks, cars, snowplows, snowmobiles, fire trucks, campers and even a train! The students had so much fun and learned a lot about the history of transportation in our state!
Spring Concert Information
The sixth grade participated in a virtual Mission to Mars hosted by the Challenger Learning Center in Bangor. This amazing experience was made possible through a grant given by Blue Origin's Foundation, Club for the future. We thank you so much for supporting our awesome mission! It was out of this world 😊
The lunch menu for Wednesday, May 17th has changed to scrambled eggs, cinnamon flat bread, hash brown and 100% fruit juice.
First grade had a wonderful time at the Mother’s Day Tea yesterday!
4th grade took their learning on the road this week to the Carroll Homestead in Southwest Harbor. They learned about how families lived in Maine in the past and experienced fun games from generations ago! It was such a fun way to learn about Maine history!
Pre-K has some very special visitors! Over the next few weeks, Ms. Coltart's students are observing caterpillars as they transform into butterflies as a way to wrap up a few science topics from the year.
