Happy Thanksgiving from Mrs. Estes’ class! We are thankful for friends, family, and good food.

Message from the Milford PTO:
Due to a lack of volunteers, the fun afternoons that were tentatively scheduled for December 1st & December 15th have been canceled.
We will try to reschedule them for sometime in January, February or March. We are hoping to have more volunteers at that time.

Students and staff did a great job participating in theme days for "Paws"itive Choices Week! We hope students had fun while learning about making positive choices!

Last week we held a "Paws"itive Choices event! Students learned about healthy and positive choices from the Old Town Orono YMCA, Bike Coalition, Northern Light, Milford Fire, Penquis, and our own Mr. Henry! We'd like to thank all of our presenters and Old Town Hannaford, Bangor Savings Bank, and Northern Light for the donation of bags for our students to bring information home to their families! Students were able to learn and have fun while focusing on how to make themselves happy and healthy! We can't wait to do it again next year!

We'd like to thank all of the adults and students that joined the soccer slam! It was a great game and everyone had a lot of fun!

Don't forget to wear your PJs tomorrow for $1 to support Student Council!

Today 6th graders had the chance to welcome Chief Kirk Francis and James Francis from the Penobscot Nation into their classroom. They got to learn all about the history of the Penobscot Nation , the land, what a chief does and how they use to survive off the land! We learned a lot and want to thank Chief Francis and Mr. Francis for spending time with us today

Good Morning,
Route 178 or the Bradley Road in Milford is scheduled to have two separate repair projects in the coming weeks. In both projects, there will be a detour via the County Road in Milford, so passenger cars and school bus traffic will be able to flow, likely slowly.
Here are details from Maine DOT:
Route 178 Closure November 7-9 due to a culvert repair at the junction of Route 178 and Pleasant Street, Milford. There will be a detour through Pleasant Street and the County Road for passenger vehicles, EMS and school buses. This area will be flagged 24/7 throughout the project. The presence of this flagger and the nature of this project will cause travel delays. Please plan accordingly.
The railroad crossing project (delayed from October) at the junction of Route 2 and Route 178 is scheduled for November 12 & 13. The detour for this project will be the same as mentioned above, however, a flagger will not be needed so there should be minimal delays.
Sincerely,
Trish Clark
Superintendent
