This week has brought up challenges for our small school community and at the same time an opportunity to thank those that go above and beyond for our school. Schools across the country are experiencing substitute teacher shortages. This means that often our specialists, office staff, administrators, and anyone able may be subbing in a classroom, at recess, or in the lunch room for a duty. We've had just about all positions possible subbing in a classroom this year and we want to say thank you! Our staff are willing to step up for students and we appreciate you!

Thank you to all of the Veterans that joined us for the celebration yesterday. We were honored to learn from you and celebrate you! We want to thank Mrs. Young, Mrs. Conary, Mrs. Evans, and all of the staff and students that worked hard to put together a truly meaningful event. https://www.wabi.tv/video/2024/11/08/milford-students-honor-those-who-served/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0cVlZW8_Q_hvSQRUUA5SfOlhwUKP2ITYWcmeDkyTSAUfRWxf1atZQvqb0_aem_H6ZuqxZMwYB-OfsvrdPomg

Yesterday, the 7/8 science classes made monsters in class! After learning about inherited traits and taking a class inventory of observable traits- they flipped coins to see what traits their monsters would have and then they built them! We think they came out pretty great!
