The basketball games that were scheduled for Monday, January 26th has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 29th.
Our Boys basketball teams hosted the Orono Riots yesterday.
Despite a loss, our B team made some gains in plays and played a tight defensive line. Playing as a team and communication really helped us get to the basket. Baskets made by Ben T, Conner M. Tate A., Weston M., Hunter H, and Kayson C.
Our A team was able to hold off some quick plays made by the Riots. Although falling short, the team pushed through and stayed focused. Baskets by Simon K, Derrick C, Lanon M, Hunter H., Jaxson M. and Damon S.

The girls' teams traveled to Orono last night. Both the A and B teams were defeated by the Riots. The A team kept it a close game all the way through until the end, when the Riots pulled ahead. Baskets were scored by Kylie, Maddie, and Ava. The B team played a hard game, displaying lots of effort on the court. Points were scored by Sophia, Paige, and Kaelyn.

Additional threatening calls have been received in a neighboring community. Law enforcement agencies around the state continue to investigate. We take all threats seriously. Out of an abundance of caution, we will remain in "Secure the School" mode for the rest of the school day. We will update you soon about after school activities.
Out of an abundance of caution due to an ongoing incident in Old Town we have secured the school. As usual ALL exterior doors are locked and staff and students will remain inside the building. We will update as we receive any further information.
Boys A team traveled to Bangor Christian last night. Even though they fell short, they were able to hold off their defense in the second half of the game and close the gap with points! Baskets made by Colton M. Simon K, Derrick C. Landon M. Hunter H and Damon S. COMBINED practice from 4:30-6:30 tonight.
The Lady Wildcats traveled to Bangor Christian last night to face the Patriots. Despite another loss, they still managed to land some baskets from Paisley, Kylie, and Ava. Maddie and Ava had some great rebounds, while some great defense came from Bailee and Calli. Karlee and Tiffani also put in some great teamwork.
Our Friday Paw Power Winners are Octavia and Elizabeth. Students that earn Paw Power Cards during the week are put into a drawing to be our weekly winners. This program is sponsored by Old Town Dairy Queen. Our winners and the teacher who gave the card get an ice cream treat to celebrate. This is part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports(PBIS) program to encourage our core values of respect, responsibility, and care.

Our boys Basketball teams went to Holbrook yesterday and played some AMAZING basketball! Keeping the games close right til the end!! Our A team played some honest defense and were able to move the ball around the court and keep the game neck and neck! Baskets made by Ethan M, Colton M, Simon K, Landon M, Hunter H, Karson G, Damon S and Teyton A. Our B team play the best game of the season last night! Holding back Holdbrook by 1 point with 15 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately falling short after a 3, the boys played their hearts out and left it all on the court. Baskets made by Conner M, Ben T, Colton M, Bryson R, Weston M, Elijah M, and Hunter H. Great job boys! Your school is proud of you!
